PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof device of a continuously variable transmission which effectively absorbs and shields vibration and noise generated by contact between a pulley and an endless transmission element even with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A soundproof device of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) 10 includes at least a drive pulley comprising a shaft part 14 arranged on an input shaft which is rotated by a driving force of a driving source mounted on a vehicle and a disk integrally formed on the shaft part, a driven pulley 10b comprising a shaft part 20 arranged on an output shaft connected with the drive wheel and a disc formed integrally with the shaft part 20 and an endless transmission element 10c wound on the driven pulley. Therein, the soundproof device is constituted with a plate 30 made of soundproofing material arranged apart from a transmission case by a prescribed distance (separation distance) Dn specified by characteristic of at least one of the pulley and the belt on the outside of the transmission case 12. |
