A terminal device (100) recognizes a swipe manipulation from a user upon a touch panel (120). A control unit (16) reads out resolution information from a storage unit (13). Additionally, the control unit (16) sets a threshold value (Dth) according to a required movement distance (Lth) whereupon the swipe operation is determined to be in effect. Specifically, the control unit (16) computes the threshold value (Dth) by multiplying the required movement distance (Lth) by the resolution which is read out from the storage unit (13). |
