In the present invention, each of a plurality of computer devices is provided with a filter function unit for transmitting, using a filter definition, a specif ic packet communicated between the computer device in which the filter function unit is included and others among the computer devices. A management device has a receiving unit for receiving the respective filter definitions trans mitted from the plurality of computer devices and a verification unit for verifying that, among configuration information included in the respective filter definitions received, there is a match between one set of configuration information and another set of configuration information configured for a combination of the computer devices between which a packet is communicated.
