PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength converting gel which includes a wavelength converting material and is suitable for converting exciting light to warm white light with a lower color temperature.SOLUTION: A wavelength converting material 120 is made of a semiconductor material. The wavelength converting material 120 absorbs exciting light L1 with the wavelength range from 300 nm to 490 nm, and converts the exciting light L1 to emitted light E1 with the wavelength range from 450 nm to 750 nm.
