PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To faithfully reproduce an original musical sound that a stringed instrument generates.SOLUTION: A microphone device 40 includes a pair of condenser microphones 42A, 42B which are arranged in an internal space of a body 12 of a stringed instrument 10 at a predetermined interval, and a signal processing part which performs signal processing so that output signals of the pair of condenser microphones 42A, 42B corresponding to a sound wave made incident from a direction in which a sound hole 36 of the body 12 is formed cancel each other. An insensitive plane P formed by the microphone device 40 passes through the sound hole 36. Namely, the microphone device 40 does not have sensitivity in the direction where the sound hole 36 is formed, and so a musical sound resonating in the internal space of the body 12 can be collected without causing any howling, to faithfully reproduce an original musical sound that the stringed instrument 10 generates. |
