PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the transmission speed of serial communication.SOLUTION: A photoelectric sensor system includes a plurality of sensor units and a communication unit that is connected to a PLC and the plurality of sensor units so as to transmit signals and transmits information having received from each sensor unit to the PLC. With a synchronous signal transmitted from a sensor unit recognized as a master unit from among the plurality of sensor units with a predetermined period T0 being an origin, each sensor unit transmits detection information (an amount of received light) to a communication unit after a standby time WT has elapsed that is specified for each sensor unit. The standby time WT of each sensor is specified so as to be different from that of other sensor units. |
