<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a recognition result of a particular object such as a face in an image to efficiently retrieve an image related to a particular event etc.SOLUTION: An electronic device detects a particular object from image data acquired by photographing to obtain first object identification data. The electronic device then detects a particular object from image data retrieved on the basis of the first object identification data or image data in the same group as the retrieved image data to obtain second object identification data. The electronic device also obtains candidate image data from the image data to be retrieved by means of retrieval using the first and second object identification data and additional data of the image data, and determines the candidate image data as a display candidate.</p> |
