A liquid crystal display device and an electronic pen system using the same are disclosed. The liquid crystal display device comprises: an infrared reflective layer on which information patterns comprising virtual lattice lines and a plurality of marks are formed and which reflects infrared rays hitting a surface thereof; and a liquid crystal layer which is formed at an upper layer of the infrared reflective layer and in which an arrangement of liquid crystal molecules is altered by external pressure.
