The invention relates to a medical control system (1) comprising a control station (2) with a touch screen (3), a control device (4) and multiple medical devices (5, 6, 7, 8), each medical device (5, 6, 7, 8) and the control station (2) having a data link (9) to the control device (4). The control station (2) is configured to display on the touch screen (3) a schematic representation of the medical devices (5, 6, 7, 8) in a first display (11) and said station (2) is configured to allow the representation of one of the medical devices (5, 6, 7, 8) together with a representation of the specific operating functions thereof in a second display (14) as a result of one of the schematic representations of one of the medical devices (5, 6, 7, 8) being touched in the first display (11).
