PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in an initial state of installation of a meandering correction device, when a meandering correction roll 91 is not parallel to other rollers in an image forming apparatus, it takes a time for the meandering correction roll 91 to be pushed up from the state not parallel to other rollers in order to correct meandering of a sheet conveyance belt 90; and therefore, it takes a time for the sheet conveyance belt 90 to be correctly positioned, which leads to the occurrence of defects on images formed during the correction.SOLUTION: A belt control device controls movement of a belt that is laid over a plurality of rollers to run along with the rotation of the plurality of rollers, the movement in an axial direction of the rollers. The belt control device includes axis inclination stopping parts for stopping the inclination of the rollers at a predetermined position, and axis inclining parts for inclining the rollers along with the movement of the belt in the axial direction of the rollers, which are provided on both ends of each of the rollers. |
