PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable holding wires simultaneously even when the pitch between wires is small.SOLUTION: A wire holding device comprises a first sleeve 1 having a plurality of first through wire holes 14 to be inserted with wires, a second sleeve 2 which is relatively rotatable with respect to the first sleeve 1 and is to be inserted with the tip sides of the wires and drive means 3 of rotating the second sleeve 2. The relative positions of the first wire hole 14 and the second wire hole 21 in the circumferential direction of the sleeves are deviated mutually by rotating the first sleeve 1 and the second sleeve 2 relatively, with wires inserted into the first wire hole 14 and the second wire hole 21, and wires are held by the opening edge part of the first wire hole 14 and the opening edge part of the second wire hole 21.
