PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound, a composition and a method, useful for regulating expression of VEGF.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a compound, a composition and a method, useful for regulating expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) by the mechanism of RNA interference (RNAi). The compound and the composition of the present invention comprise an iRNA agent, and the iRNA agent may be unmodified or chemically modified. The present invention also relates to use of siRNA targeting VEGF sequence, for treating a condition and a disorder associated with undesired expression of VEGF, for example, age-related macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy. |
