A piezoelectric transformer that is capable of suppressing an unnecessary vibration mode is provided. The piezoelectric transformer (10) is provided with a piezoelectric body (20) having drive parts (60, 62) and a power generation part (70), an input electrode (30), and an output electrode (40). The drive parts (60, 62) and the power generation part (70) are arranged side-by-side in the length direction of the piezoelectric body (20). The drive parts (60, 62) are characterized: passing through the center of the piezoelectric body (20) in the length direction, and being arranged symmetrically in relation to a plane (S1) that is orthogonal to the length direction; and by occupying at least half of the area of the piezoelectric body (20), and being constituted by two or more adjacent polarized regions. |
