PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter which is capable of precisely measuring the flow rate, and superior in mass productivity.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic flowmeter includes: a flow path 3 that allows a fluid to be measured to flow from one opening end to the other opening end therethrough; a metal plate 9a; an ultrasonic transducer 5, 6 which has an acoustic matching body 9c fixed to a one plane of the metal plate 9a and a piezoelectric body 9b fixed to the other plane; an insulative vibration-damping member 11 formed to cover the metal plate 9a excluding the acoustic matching body 9c and the surrounding thereof; an attachment portion 3b of the ultrasonic transducer 5, 6 disposed in the flow path 3; and a fixing member 13 fixing the ultrasonic transducer 5,6 to the attachment portion 3b. The fixing member 13 has a retainer 18 of the ultrasonic transducer 5, 6 and an extending part 12 extending in an L-like shape. A hook 15 formed at the front end of the extending part 12 engages with a hole formed in the attachment portion 3b to fix the ultrasonic transducer 5, 6 to the attachment portion 3b to thereby reduce propagation of the ultrasonic to a housing. |
