Disclosed in the present invention are a device for detecting fuse of a relay in a battery system and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for detecting fuse of a relay in a battery system includes: a power unit which supplies current to a main relay and a pre-charge relay connected in parallel on the same path; a switching unit which is placed between the power unit and the main relay and the pre-charge relay connected in parallel and switches the connection therebetween; a current sensor which is placed on the same path on which the main relay and the pre-charge relay connected in parallel are placed and senses current (IT) flowing on the path; and a control unit which detects the fuse status of each of the main relay and the pre-charge relay according to the current (IT) sensed by the current sensor. According to the present invention, it is possible to detect fuse of each of the main relay and the pre-charge relay connected in parallel on the same path by detecting current using the current sensor. |
