PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a structure in which fitting is complete only by performing operation of fitting of a mating connector and which is suitable to include a plurality of contacts, related to a connector including a contact to be connected to a connection pad of a mating connector which is inserted to an insertion reception part for accepting the mating connector.SOLUTION: A connector 100 includes: housings 20, 40 which have insertion reception parts for accepting an insertion part 710 of a mating connector 700 having the plate-like insertion part 710 in which a connection pad 711 is formed on a first surface; a contact 10 corresponding to the connection pad 711, which is arranged at a position which is separated from the first surface and faces the first surface in the case in which the insertion part 710 is inserted to the insertion reception part at the time of no insertion and at an initial stage of insertion of the insertion part 710 to the insertion reception part; and a slider 30 which receives force from the insertion part 710 and presses the contact 10 against the connection pad 711 at the time of final movement of insertion of the insertion part 710 to the insertion reception part. |
