This wireless transmission device (10A) has a wireless interface (101), a LAN interface (102), a signal processing unit (103), and a control unit (104). The LAN interface (102) is connected to a LAN. The signal processing unit (103) relays a layer 2 PDU or a layer 3 PDU between the wireless interface and the LAN interface. The control unit (104) transmits a control PDU containing a variable stipulated on the basis of the bit rate of the wireless link (11) from the LAN interface (102).
