Abstract A method for producing a quantitative risk assessment of one or more geographical development projects associated with one or more geographical regions comprising the steps: of categorizing project risks into a series of risk parameters; collecting geographic information system (GIS) data on the one or more geographical regions; linking the GIS data to the risk parameters; using a weighing/scoring of the risk parameters to produce one or more quantitative risk assessment functions (QRAFs) based on the linked GIS data; and using the one or more QRAFs and collected GIS data to produce the quantitative risk assessment of the one or more geographical development projects.
