Provided is a compressor including a rotary compression mechanism having a simple structure, facilitating assembly, and capable of collecting lubricant oil contained in refrigerant with low cost. A mist collecting member is disposed between a cylindrical portion of a muffler cover and a boss, which serves as an outlet for refrigerant from an upper muffler chamber so as to collect the lubricant oil contained in the refrigerant. The mist collecting member is placed in a peripheral groove formed in the boss, and is held between the boss and the cylindrical portion of the muffler cover.
