The present invention relates to a mobile communication terminal and a data storage method to automatically store data contents selected by a user among the predetermined contents in a mobile communication terminal which includes a display unit to display a menu screen which includes contents; a main memory where contents are stored; an auxiliary memory which is detachable; and a control unit to periodically and automatically store the data of the selected contents among the displayed contents on the menu screen to the auxiliary memory.
