Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for hill start assist control of a vehicle. The present invention includes: a first flow path which delivers the hydraulic brake pressure generated by a master cylinder to front wheels; a TCV valve installed on the outlet of the master cylinder to open or close the first flow path; an IV valve installed on the front wheels to open or close the first flow path; a bypass which is branched from the first flow path between the IV valve and the front wheels and is connected to the first flow path between the TCV valve and the outlet of the master cylinder; and a control valve installed to open or close the bypass. The control apparatus can reduce the creep-groan noise caused in the front wheel to enhance the NVH performance of the vehicle. |
