PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency kit storage box for securing easy removal of a cover member from the body while reducing the risk of deforming of a hand operation part. SOLUTION: The body 11 in which emergency kits are stored has a front opening part S1 an upper opening part S2 into/out of which the emergency kits are taken. The cover member 12 for shielding the opening parts S1, S2 has a lock device 50 on which a hand operation member 53 is provided as the hand operation part. With the hand operation of the hand operation member 53, the cover member 12 locked to the body 11 by the lock device 50 is unlocked to allow upward removal of the cover member 12 from the body 11.
