The sensor has two electric wires (9) each with an end connected to a thermistor e.g. positive temperature coefficient thermistor, for transferring an abundant temperature signal from the thermistor to a processing unit. A ceramic insulating sheath (10) has a cylindrical outer covering (19) and an associated maintaining channel (17) for each electrical wire. A portion of the covering forms a support surface (21) that cooperates with an associated plane surface (23) of a mounting bracket (25).
