THIN FILM BATTERY

Provided is a thin film battery which: uses a cathode and an anode that include an oxide; consequently, is stable when exposed to air without a case containing an electrode assembly; and has an increased energy density. The thin film battery includes: a solid electrolyte which includes a first surface and a second surface that are opposed to each other; a first electrode which is formed on the first surface of the solid electrolyte and includes the oxide; a second electrode which is formed on the second surface of the solid electrolyte and includes the oxide; a first current collector formed on the first electrode; and a second current collector formed on the second electrode. The solid electrolyte, the first current collector, and the second current collector are exposed to air.
