PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil agent for an acrylic fiber for producing a carbon fiber, capable of simultaneously achieving prevention of fusion between fibers and stable operation in carbon fiber production and free from suspicion of environmental hormones, and a method for producing the carbon fiber using the same. SOLUTION: An oil agent for an acrylic fiber for producing a carbon fiber includes as essential components an ester compound having three or more of ester groups in a molecule and a water soluble amide-based compound. The ester compound is at least one kind selected from a compound prepared by dehydration condensation of a polybasic acid and a higher alcohol and a compound prepared by dehydration condensation of a polyhydric alcohol and a fatty acid, and has a structure in which one ester group in the molecule is connected to any other ester groups only through a carbon-carbon bond. A weight ratio of a silicone-based compound to an entire nonvolatile component of the oil agent is less than 10 wt%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
