The present invention relates to technology securing the storage space of an available storage device. The present invention collects context data indicating surroundings of the storage device, selects a file stored in the storage device by using the context data or user profile data, and secures the available storage space of the storage device by processing the selected file by using the user profile data or context data. Since it secures the available storage space by using the user profile data or context data, it efficiently secures the storage space without manual intervention of a user, and prevents the waste of unnecessary resources.
