Preparing iodopropargyl compound (I), comprises reacting a propargyl compound (II) with iodine and/or metal iodide in the presence of a base and under the use of chlorine. Preparing iodopropargyl compound of formula (I-C?=C-(CH 2) n-O-C(=O)-NH-R) (I), comprises reacting a propargyl compound of formula (C?=C-(CH 2) n-O-C(=O)-NH-R) (II) with iodine and/or metal iodide in the presence of a base and under the use of chlorine. R : H, optionally substituted 1-20C-alkyl, 2-20C-alkenyl, 6-20C-aryl or 3-20C-cycloalkyl; and n : 1-6. |
