The present invention relates to a method for controlling a backhoe loader having a backhoe working device and a loader working device, comprising the steps of: determining whether or not the backhoe working device is operated; setting RPM of an engine as first RPM when operation of the backhoe working device is sensed; determining whether or not the loader working device is operated; and setting RPM of the engine as the second RPM when operation of the loader working device is sensed, wherein the first RPM is different from the second RPM. The method for controlling the backhoe loader according to the present invention operates the engine by the first RPM when the backhoe working device is operated but operates the engine by the second RPM when the loader working device is operated in order to set RPM of the engine according to the working devices, thereby reducing energy consumed by the engine. |
