Disclosed are a backup system for an intelligent distribution network for stable power supply and a control method thereof. The intelligent distribution network includes: a transformer; a load which is combined to an output node on a first track branched from the output of the transformer, receives power from the transformer, and is set as a main or normal load; a transformer-side breaker which combines the transformer with the first track; a load-side breaker which combines the load with the output node on the first track; and a track opening/closing unit which is combined between the first track and a second track. In case any error occurs on the second track, the track opening/closing unit is injected to form an integrated track in which the first and the second track are combined, and the transformer maintains power supply to a main load combined with an output node on the integrated track, calculates real-time capacity, and controls power supply to a normal load according to the real-time capacity. By doing so, it is possible to reduce the amount of initial investment by avoiding increase of the capacity of the transformer, reduce loss by the transformer during normal operation, and enable uninterruptible load operation through backup power supply in case of power interruption. |
