<p>An organic electroluminescent display comprises: a substrate; a first electrode disposed on the substrate; a pixel defining film in which an opening is formed on a portion overlapped with the first electrode by being disposed on the first electrode; a lyophilic film disposed on the first electrode and the pixel defining film by having lyophilic property; an organic light emitting layer disposed on the lyophilic film; and a second electrode disposed on the organic light emitting layer. The lyophilic film includes a central portion and an edge portion. The central portion is disposed on the first electrode through the opening and at least one recess portion is formed on the central portion. The edge portion is disposed on the pixel defining film by being extended from the central portion.</p>
