The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which has a voice recognition function. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a microphone for receiving a voice of a user; a user input unit for detecting user input; a control unit for starting a first work in response to the user input, executing a voice recognition mode before the first work is finished, generating recognition result information by recognizing the voice received through the microphone when executing the voice recognition mode, and executing a second work based on the recognition result information; and a display unit for displaying a loading screen image until at least one of the first and second works is finished, and displaying a second execution screen image according to the second work prior to a first execution screen image according to the result of the first work when the second work is finished. |
