The present invention relates to a cucurbituril-homocystein self-assembly and a method for manufacturing the same. The cucurbituril according to the present invention can easily distiguish homocysteine by containing cucurbituril inside by selectively engaging with the homocysteine having a very similar structure with cysteine, and can detect and quantify in vivo homocysteine by selectively detecting to generate a self-assembly.
