<p>Provided are a method for improved stereo audio recording in an electronic device and a system thereof. Stereo recording performance can be evaluated by using a first and second microphone in an electronic device, and the processing of a signal generated by the first and second microphones can be set based on the evaluated stereo recording performance. The setting process includes a step of adaptively changing the processing to improve stereo recording performance in order to be close to or matched with ideal performance. The evaluating step of the stereo recording is performed based on the type of the first or second microphone and/or intervals between the microphones. The processing can be adaptively changed to simulate the oriented reception of the signal by the first and second microphones when the microphones are omnidirectional.</p> |
