Provided are a method and a system to share an output device between multimedia devices in order to transmit and receive data. The method automatically detects at least one second multimedia device as a first multimedia device is located within the communication range of at least one second multimedia device which transmits a low power signal and transmits data of the first multimedia device to at least one second multimedia device as at least one second multimedia device is detected.
