Piston stroke pipette with exchangeable displacer unit

The pipette has displacement unit (3) that is detachably mounted on drive unit (2). The drive unit has actuating drive element (8) that drives piston (9) into receiving section of displacement unit. A detachable mechanical connection (11) is provided between actuating drive element and piston, by using fastening element. Another detachable mechanical connection (16) is provided between receiving section (15) of drive unit and fastening element. A mechanical unit (18) is provided for breaking magnetic connection between receiving section of drive unit and fastening element.
