<p>The hinge (1) has a hinge lower part (2) connected with a body component, and a hinge upper part (3) connected with a bonnet. The upper part has a base body (5) and a flap part (4) adjustable between normal and crash positions. A drive device (11) has a pyrotechnic gas generator (21) connected with the flap part such that the flap part is moved from the normal position to the crash position during activation of the generator. The drive device has a pivoting lever (9) connected with the generator such that gas pressure produced during activation of the generator causes rotation of the lever.</p> |
