The present invention is a text image recognizing method performing the steps of extracting primary features including information on the feature points by determining comparison pixels and dissimilar pixels as the feature points through the comparison of pixels corresponding to each pixel of the input image and comparison pixels surrounding points predetermined distance apart; and applying a preset first classification criteria including the reference of the total number of feature points of the primary features, and classifying the pixels into documents and non-document image.
