PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car capable of further surely restraining noise in a cage. SOLUTION: An upper part of the cage 5 is covered with an upper air registering cover 6, and a lower part of the cage 5 is coveted with a lower air registering cover 7. The interior of the upper air registering cover 6 is provided with an opening layer 20 separated from the cage 5 and a sealed layer 21 interposed between the opening layer 20 and the cage 5. The opening layer 20 and the sealed layer 21 are partitioned by an upper partition plate 8. The upper air registering cover 6 is provided with a ventilation port 24 arranged only in the opening layer 20 by avoiding the sealed layer 21.
