PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a releasing polyester film having a moderate peel-strength and excellent uniformity of a release layer, which can be preferably used as a carrier film for forming a thin ceramic green sheet to be employed for a ceramic multilayer capacity. SOLUTION: The releasing polyester film has the release layer on at least one surface thereof, the release layer being formed by coating an application liquid employing an emulsion obtained by emulsifying a silicone having a reactive group and a silicone having no reactive group with a nonion-based emulsifying agent, respectively.
