The present invention relates to an AC-based ultrasonic searching system, which comprises: a control unit; a user input unit which designates a first area of an object to be inspected; a scanner which can move within the first area; a probe which is moved by being connected with the scanner, and inspects a defect of the first area by transmitting or receiving ultrasonic waves when being in contact with the object according to the control of the control unit; and a display unit which displays inspection results related with the defect of the first area according to the control of the control unit. Therefore, in the AC-based ultrasonic searching system, the control unit can control the scanner and the probe so that the probe can inspect a defect of a second area when the second area of the object is newly designated through the user input unit.
