A clamping device for holding and pulling in a line, such as a sheet, comprising a handle part and a finger engaging part, which parts are hinged together about a hinge axis, the handle part and the finger engaging part each having a line engaging surface which extends spaced from the hinge axis and which faces toward the hinge axis, such that a line can be placed between the two line engaging surfaces at the location of the hinge axis, perpendicular thereto, and be clamped between the two line engaging surfaces by pivoting the handle part and the index finger engaging part relative to each other. |
