The purpose of the invention consists in a method for obtaining metallic molds with cavities for the rotomolding industry with the improved characteristic of reducing the amount of operations required to use quick prototypes for manufacturing the cavities of the metallic mold from the casting process without adding elements or assemblies, almost removing the machining operations with the advantage of simplifying and defining the size of the mold, the solidification direction being controlled in a better manner, reducing the superficial faults of the cavities, and reducing the manufacturing cost of each mold.
