<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conversion apparatus and a video reproducing apparatus for enhancing the confidentiality of video data. <P>SOLUTION: Gaps of a data format are formed to false video data not needing the confidentiality by extending positions of data headers or the like, and principal video data needing high confidentiality are arranged to the gaps to produce composite video data. When the composite video data are reproduced by a general-purpose reproduction tool, since the false video data are reproduced, the confidentiality of the principal video data can be enhanced. Further, an exclusive reproduction apparatus generates a password file wherein a password is entered before reproduction of the composite video data, the password is extracted from the password file at the reproduction of the composite video data, and when the password is an illegitimate password, the exclusive reproduction apparatus reproduces the false video image, and when the password is a legitimate password, the exclusive reproduction apparatus reproduces the principal video image. Since a picture or the like for entering the password is not displayed at the reproduction of the composite video image data, the confidentiality of the principal video image can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
