The device has a heating device (2) including a receiving chamber (4) for receiving plastic preforms (10). The preforms are heated in the heating device. A transport device (6) inserts the preforms into the chamber and takes the preforms out of the chamber. The transport device includes transport elements (16) for holding the preforms. The transport elements are arranged at movable carriers (17, 18) e.g. transport belts. The carriers are sectionally extended through the chamber in a longitudinal direction of the preforms. The chamber is designed within a resonator (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for heating plastic preforms. |
