Method for determining a representation of a multiplication of elements of a finite field

The method involves obtaining a value for each pair formed by an integer between 1 and d and another integer greater than the former integer. The value associated with the concerned integer is determined in a representation by summing the multiplication of the values associated with the concerned integer for each integer between 1 and d, where the random values are associated with pair of integers, in which the former integer is the concerned integer and the values obtained for the pair in which the latter integer is the concerned integer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for computing a non-linear function applied to finite cardinal elements (2) a device for determining a representation of a multiplication of finite cardinal elements (3) a device for computing a non-linear function applied to finite cardinal elements.
