The hood (2) of a convertible vehicle (1) has a disc (3) and a hood covering (6) is fixed in a disc boundary region (4) at the disc. The hood covering is fixed with a flat, bending free boundary region at a turned side vehicle internal area directly at the disc boundary region. An edge protector is provided at a free end of the hood covering. The edge protector is formed with a plastic profile.
