A dryer (100) with a heat pump that includes a cabinet (110), a drum (106) installed within the cabinet (110), and an exhaust duct (130) configured to exhaust air from the drum (106) to outside of the cabinet (110). The dryer (100) also includes a fan (122) configured to inhale air from the drum (106) and pump the air to the exhaust duct (130), an evaporator (140) configured to exchange heat with air being exhausted through the exhaust duct (130), and a condenser (195) disposed at a rear side of the drum (106). The dryer (100) further includes an intake passage member configured to guide air that has passed through the condenser (195) into the drum (106) and a compressor (160) and an expansion apparatus configured to define a heat pump along the evaporator (140) and condenser (195). |
