An electrical accessory grid and cover plate assembly for mounting on a wall of a property comprises a back member (32) and a front member 34. The front member provides an aesthetic finish to the assembly and comprises at least two pins 36 extending from an inner surface 38 thereof, the pins having a shaft 40 and a head 42. The back member has apertures (44) for receiving the respective pins which comprise or include split collet members (46) for receiving and engaging under the heads of the pins for securing the front member to the back member. The back member may attach to a back box and may hold one or more switches or sockets. The front and back members may both be metal, with a sprung leaf earth connection (58) between them.
