The connected coulter assembly (10) has a fastener each rotatably mounted with V-shaped coulter disc (14) to form a double disc coulter (12). The contact area (32) on the respective outer circumference of blade or coulter disc is pressed against each other. The fastener is elastically deformable to define the biasing forces between V-shaped coulter discs of the double disc coulter by the contour and elastic material properties. The fastener is formed of a resilient material such as plastic, metal or a composite material.
