The valve has a valve body (2) provided with an inlet (20) and an outlet (21), and a sealing element (4) e.g. sealing ball, mounted on a valve seat (3) and comprising a valve bore (30). An operating element (5) e.g. valve pin, is formed along a longitudinal axis and movably supported by an electromagnet (6). An armature (62) of the electromagnet and the operating element are executed as separate unconnected components. The pin is supported in a longitudinal bore of the body and designed as a sliding bearing (75). An outlet-side end of the valve bore is locked by the sealing element.
